6 to 7 was a huge leap, as big if not bigger the 5 to 6. 7 to 8 isn't as noticeable me thinks. It will improve gameplay and framerates though that's for sure. Graphics look much more solid, but for the first time ever I think I can honestly say that I can live with the PS3 graphics for a bit longer, something I couldn't with the PS2.
