Cripes, I forgot to mention that calling him a fanboy is a bit of stretch, I have to admit that.
He does have an extreme nostalgia for Nintendo games, but I do not see any sort of fanboy on him, infact I see the complete opposite. And I can tell, I was a fanboy before... :D
