There's definitely an argument that Zelda is in the wrong place.

Based on individual platform releases, there's 3 games with over five million sales, but when you add in ports and remakes, and consider it cumulatively, that number increases.

A Link to the Past and Zelda II both jump above the threshold, as will Wind Waker later this year (the remake is going to sell more than 400k). That basically just leaves Majora and SS as the only home console releases not to hit the threshold.

Remember, it's based on CURRENT sales potential. So we have to off by the latest title/known upcoming title.

Now I think that Zelda U will sell 5 million easy, but who knows, we might get another WW on our hands where the fans rage about it.

Right, but if you rewind 7 years, prior to the release of Twilight Princess, you'd be able to say that it had little to no potential to sell as well as it did on the back of the performance of both Majora and WW, and that it would probably be another 3-4million seller.
