I am going to have to say Grand Theft Auto III. Halo was close, but I have to go with GTAIII. And I barely have even played it - my first time really playing a GTA was Vice City but GTAIII was so revolutionary it changed everything. To go from Mario, Zelda, Mega Man, even Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider to GTA just really took gaming to a whole other level. To me it is still the best game ever made. Gaming changed forever for me.
I still remember playing Vice City for the first time Christmas 2002.... dang... it's been so long. Wow..... time flies. I raaaan, I ran so far awaaaayy... couldn't get away. Grand Theft Auto, Vice City, coming soon on PlayStation 2. Rated M for Mature.
