You are thinking of The Agency... a spy MMO... The Agent has never been officially cancelled. It would be pretty stupid of Sony if this is the case as they pumped tens of millions apparently into LA Noire which went multi plat and the Agent deal was mean to fix that. Well thats what i read...
Though apparently every time Sony are asked about it, they say speak to Rockstar... would be nice if finally some good news came out about this game.
