With "We’ve seen competitors come and go" he is talking about Sega leaving and MS joining, right? because nothing else happened in the past 15 years. Well Valve and Ouya just happened, but I doubt he is talking about those guys.

Exactly my thought, there was only Sega and despite they had many fanst (like me) they never were in one league with Nintendo (BigN was way more successful) or Sony which forced themselves into market with a lot of money Sega didn't have. That's why I was suprised he said "competitors".
