Though , the Avs defense is bad to begin with and has been hurt especially with the long term injury to Erik Johnson. So Varly's sucktitude is only partially his fault. He lacks any real strong defensemen around him. The only plus side to the Avs season is that Matt Duchene is emerging as a point per game player. Being good as he was advertised. PA Parentue was the avs primary free agent pick up last year, scoring high with Jonathon Tavres. He has continued that production especially in goals. But overall, the Avs are melting faster than it snows with . I will have to hype Myself up with the Black hawks to hype this season. Looking at the standings though a high draft pick sounds likely for Colorado. At least they are still better than the LEastern conferences worse teams.
