It needs to be embraced by popular media. I'm not talking about IGN or Gamespot, I'm talking about talk shows like Oprah and the like. The Wii had a big embrace from pop culture, which flew it across the casual audience's radars. If the Wii U isn't embraced as much, then it'll likely capture only a small percent of their previous audience.
