Have nintendo really lost the casuals?

It's simple. The casuals are already happy with what they have. They see no reason to upgrade, especially at that price.
Sony and MS aren't in such a bad spot because core gamers are insatiable for better graphics and sequels, though kinect 2 is going to have the same problem wiiU is having.
