Weird and odd things are funny all of the time. It's why you see odd things on the Onion and parodied on South Park. Whenever you see an enigmatic person promoted to CEO, it has a Steve Ballmer effect. People start bringing things he'd done in the past (all of the laughing .gifs, Ridge Racer, etc.) and then take it a step further with all of the photoshops. Some of them are funny, some of them are boring, and other creepy. As this hasn't happened since Reggie, I find it all very funny. You can keep being passive agressive though.
