FOX, I really like the work you put into this :) You backed up all your arguments and unpacked the term "dark."

But I would still place Majora's Mask as the darkest Zelda game. There are many shadowy themes at work in Majora's Mask, including loneliness, the overwhelming power and inevitability of time, and, perhaps most troubling, the loss of identity.
