THis^ and like some have said it would just be too good to be true :P
I would really like that idea tho. KZ has always had a rich backstory that doesn't come off nearly as good in the spoken dialogue. With a more RPG like set up, it could really shine. If anyone else has noticed, but most games are adapting RPG like systems. Shooters especially, with COD shooters having lengthy leveling systems and perks. I would really like a shooter that bridges the gap a bit more. Not quite Mass Effect(a broken shooter with good-ish story) and not quite COD, yet somewher inbetween.
- Job Classes is something Kilzone has always had. The first game told a good story through multiple character's eyes. Each character had a profession and a specific play style.
- Stronger Perk incentives are always good. KZ2 multiplayer had you unlocking new abilities as you play more, would just add the same effect for the story. Something to take note of is KZ Mercs on Vita will supposedly already be doing this with the "Money" system. One pool of exp points/money and you will use that to unlock all manner of things(like Demon's Souls).
- More Focus on Story, when like I said, KZ has a good back story. It would kinda be perfect.
- The Detail and focus on that beutiful city, it could be pretty spectacular.
