I came across a graph lately posted on the forum somewhere, ithink it was about the NPD data. The Gamecube and the Wii-U hade identical lines, with the Gamecube actually selling better. Can't seem to find it at the moment though.

Gamecube did have a much better launch window than the WIi U, though, didn't it?
