Can't disagree with any of your reasoning, but personally I'd take the weight of each a little differently. My ranking of these ten would be (from light to dark):

I like to think that Skyward Sword's plot is far more serious than what most people make it out to be. Its art style is easily capable of producing a very wide variety of moods... which may be why Nintendo likes it so much.
