Putting Wii U sales into perspective

Dropping the price early on would be terrible for the Wii U. What they need to do is wait until the fall when the big games come out, then do a minor price cut around the same time in order to create momentum. Doing the price cut while there aren't any big games coming out would have the same effect that the Japan price cut will have on the Vita. It would result in a temporary boost which would slowly drop back down to normal levels.
