Will the PS4 dwarf the specs of the next XBox? If so, why you think so?

Now, some want to imagine it will be quite easy for MS to change the HW to be more powerful, but that's not the case. Not unless they want to rush their console out before significant testing of the newly designed HW, which could lead to a RROD type situation again, or delay their launch by several months. Plus, only the hardcore MS fans want them to change it just so they will be more powerful, like they were in the Xbox days. However, if the last few years are anything to go on, as well as rumors, MS seems to be focusing more on the casual crowd.

On the hardware side this gen, Microsoft and Sony targeted the core gamers. Upcoming gen it will be Sony and Valve. Microsoft seems to be focusing their efforts into the casual crowd
