The only optical media based console that I have ever played that had near 0 loading times. It's amazing to go back and play those same games (Tales of Symphonia for example) on the Wii and notice that there are actually loading screens in the game, but the GCN was so fast that you would never see them. That system was a lot of fun, and the Gameboy player was a great attachment.
