Sega just wanted people to understand that the Genesis' CPU was faster than the SNES, but back then people thought a CPU was the big gray box for running Excel at work. Sega called it Blast Processing to give kids ammo on the playground. Sony is calling a a mid ranged PC "Supercharged" to simplify the advantages of a closed architecture and give kids ammo for the forums.

 


I think we are far beyond that now (thought I never experienced console wars growing up). Gamers are going to use real figures and numbers. Don't make this into something this is not.
