My dad actually does have a WiiU and I'll be getting a 3DS later this year once Pokemon gets a little closer.

no problem, the wii u version is a must, co op online play! U can supposedly speak in the gamepad with others, good stuff especially wen there is no games for Wii U!

Yeah, the WiiU version is the definite version of the game. Best controls, best graphics (incredibly enhanced port!), online modus and cross play with the 3DS^^
