While that seems a good idea on paper, I don´t see Remote Play as something palpable to the average consumer, simply because it´s too costly. This, of course, considering solo play. As for the off-tv play, to do the same that WiiU does, it´s necessary to have 2 consoles. I don´t see many users, apart from die-hard Sony fans, taking any advantage from that.
For multiplayer, of course, that is a great idea, because you can play with a friend or relative that has the other console. This purpose is clear with Monster Hunter for WiiU, should be clear to Sony consumers too.
