I fail to see how this is particularly bad news for Nintendo, or how it's good news for Sony. It's a neat feature, sure, but a "Future of PlayStation" event spoke about Vita only in a supporting role to PS4, not as a system in its own right. If that's the direction Sony are taking, I think it's a poor one--the market for an expensive peripheral that adds some optional extras to your home console is not a huge one, not least when you can get the PlayStation App for the smartphone or tablet many punters will already own. If Sony spent more time showing people what Vita can do on its own, what great games it can have, and not arsing around with it as a gamepad rival, then Vita would be in a much healthier position forward--and in a much better position to actually be in widespread use alongside PS4.

But then again, this is a ludicrously poor article.
