Tried the Long sword Girl on the Bunny monster.  I got dodging down but do I really only have 2 attacks of Downward slash plus jab?

No matter how much I hit it, it won't die but it does seem to be injured with its falling over itself.

Oh, big monsters need time to kill. They don't die after some hits. It will flee sometimes in the fight to another part of the map. There is a reason, why the quest has 20 minutes.

O I understand that, it just felt that what I was doing wasn't enough.  Minus him starting to fall over near the end.

Once the full game comes out, And you play with other online players, Monster will down faster with 4 hunters whacking at them, But it adds more strategy since if one player falls everyone looses. It's really fun just keep practicing till the main game comes out, you'll be hooked.
