I strongly recommend you a Japanese movie called "AVALON" it was made in 2001 by Mamoru Oshii(Ghost in the shell,Blood the last vampire...)the plot is about a virtual reality MMOG that is a sensation in Europe,the adicction and consequences,it's made with live actors and have great FX,give it a try if you or anyone else can do.
