I have seen this argument many times, but it is not logical. If this was true you would feel discomfort in your left thumb when using the 360. The fact some people prefer the configuration probably has more to do with muscle memory rather than it being a truism. Your hands respond more naturally to either configuration given enough use. In all, the notion of it being natural is laughable at best. Otherwise the natural controller configuration would be the Wii U's version.

In your original responce you brought up muscle memory. Meaning that you knew that it was not natural. If something is natural, then there is no muscle memory needed.
