It's not Vita as a controller! It's Vita to play PS4 games on the go. REAL PS4 games. Nothing else can do this.

There is no way to play video games on the go on a Vita from the PS4 on a 3G or even 4G network IMO. They did not say you could do this on the Vita at the press conference, and for good reason, because that connection simply isn't fast enough.

Ever heard of Wi-fi? It's spreading. Go to a friend's house with your Vita and play PS4 games. On the go doesn't just mean "while taking a walk" you know...

If I'm at my friends house, why would I want to play on a tiny little 5-inch sub-HD resolution screen? I'll play on his 50 inch 1080p TV. With proper L2/R2 buttons and not those dinky little analog sticks.
This type of Gaikai streaming service will almost certainly require a subscription fee too, Sony didn't pay $300 million for nothing.
