Vita?

As I said before, I don't think Sony sees the mistakes we see as "errors"

Vita is somethign else. Sony obviously doesn't understand the portable market. The home console market they do understand. In fact, I'm sure they wont' repeat the 1-year headstart or the huge price difference. Those 2 alone really killed them this gen, and without those 2 mistakes they have a chance to be market leader.

I don't see why Vita is something different. It is another gaming system made by Sony. I thought they would learn to not launch a high-priced powerful system without an innovative selling point. Yet, they still launched it and a year late. They pulled a PS3 with the Vita. With that said, I agree that the Orbis won't launch late this time. (compared to Durango) However, I do disagree about the price. Sony doesn't see the huge price or advanced tech as a mistake like us consumers do. Sony seems to like their 10-year cycles and in order to do this, you need to have a pretty powerful future-proof system. I could be wrong, but I personally see Sony launching at a high price point and powerful tech again despite the PS3 & Vita launches. They will be banking on turning things around later in the Gen just like the PS3 did. I still think they expect PS3 to sell the most for this Gen actually. It isn't really a bad plan but more risky.

1. Well its a portable so there's that.
2. In case you forgot, Vita was priced equal to the 3DS but Nintendo chickened out and did a massive price drop.
3. Handhelds are handhelds. Not much you can do with innovation. It's all about the must-have games and Vita is lacking in those.
