The negativity surrounding nextbox has nothing to do with the ps4/the reveal or PS fans. It has everything to do with various sources claiming things like

anti used games
always online to play
mandatory kinect use and packed in with the system
Less capable than the PS4 (while they are closer to each other in performance)
MS PR emphasizing non gaming aspects a bit too much recently

These are the reasons for the negativity. If these are not true then people will be genuinely hyped for nextbox too so hopefully they will do their reveal soon to take care of these rumors as well.

But the fact that you think this is somehow related to PS fans being over confident is just laughable. Will some PS fans say yay PS feel dominate next gen? Of course they will. Are you like new to console reveals or something? People say things like that just because. Same happened with the wiiu. Wiiu will dominate, will be sold out for months and months etc etc. It will again happen with Nextbox reveal too

So sit back and relax. Enjoy today as it's a great day for gamers...and let others do the same

I like and respect you alot MUGEN but this is the worst post Ive ever seen from you on this website.

Im beyond relaxed.  Im not even upset.  In fact Im just as excited as ethomaz for the PS4.  However Im also realistic.  What you posted is backing upy point.  People are running around commenting on rumors for both cobsoles when we know nothing about PS4 or 720.  Everything you just listed.......are rumors.  Most likely fake.

Honestly I'm surprised you can't see what's wrong with what you are saying here. People (and I mean fans of all systems ps/xbox/wiiu) have been discussing rumors for months and months now. This is not something that is a special case for PS fans. People who find the rumored xbox info to be negatives aren't just PS fans..xbox and Nintendo fans feel the same. I have said countless times here that I hope none of it is true..for ANY console. It's not the kind of future I want to see for home consoles

You say you are being realisitc yet you target a certain set of gamers and ignore the rest. You are also ignoring the fact that we are on the verge of a new hardware reveal, and historically people who are hyped say hyperbolic things. This will be no different. That's just the reality of console reveals. I sure hope we won't see threads like this then. We didn't see them when it was a similar situation with the wiiu now did we? 

I will also point out to you that not all comments towards PS have been positive. When discussing the latest kotaku rumor article many have expressed displeasure in having basic online behind a paywall. 

Again the negativity around the nextbox has nothing to do with PS fans being happy or overconfident or anything but has everything to do with the a many (and I do mean many) sources claiming the things I mentioned in my previous post. It will be resolved with time for sure and the false info will be weeded out. Especially when the nextbox gets revealed.
