they will be invested in new games and instead of getting broke companies will stay alive. i think sony/microsoft/nintendo get more as if they only get royalties for every sold games (i would guess maybe 20%-30 of the price so maybe 15 dollar for a 60 dollar game) and the rest to the publisher/developer which will be also more as if they would sell it at retail.
