in the Philippines and other countries in asia... they sell rice in McDonalds, KFC, etc etc...
also in the Philippines instead of lemonade they have pineapple juice...

mcdonals also have spaghetti...

they use the gravy on fried chicken in all the fast food... lots of them

all the servings are Super SMALL...

Nice! Is the rice a side dish, like fries?

Is there a reason why Lemonade isn't around, or is it just that pineapple juice is more popular?

lemonade is not popular in the philippines... they usually have pineapple juice and/or lemonade.....  i dont think they even grow lemons there

Interesting. How is the rice consumed? Usually at, for instance, a KFC, the only cutlery that's needed is a spoon (for the potato and gravy, and that's if you decide not to scoop it up with the chips). Do the fast food joints provide any complimentary cutlery for this?

Localisation does influence a lot of menus, it seems, especially if there's an abundance of a product. (It's how we ended up with Vegemite. Lots of leftover yeast extract from the local brewery).
