Customers insist on calling all consoles Nintendo.
They would come in and buy games for their computers without checking to see if their computers could run the games all the time.
Also, they'd insist that there were new games that came out that hadn't even been announced (halo 4 was one I would encounter a lot. I haven't worked at Best Buy for over 2 years so halo 4 hadn't been announced yet.)
My favorite was when they would insist one game was on sale but it was a completely different game (i.e. - Lego Batman would go on sale but they would try to argue it was Arkham Asylum).
Also, my family is annoying in the sense that if I buy a new system, they insist on asking me to give them my old consoles. I'm not being greedy but I spent a lot of money on my games and systems to let them be destroyed by little kids.

lol, did you ever get customers arguing with you about the wii HDMI? I haven't worked at best buy in three years, but I had like three or four arguments with customers over whether or not the wii had an HDMI port. I had one guy who came in looking for a 'wii HDMI cable' and I told him the wii didn't have an hdmi port, but it had av connectors. He got really mad and told me he just barely looked at his wii and it had an HDMI port, and I told him he must have been mistaken.
The guy got mad and wanted to talk to my manager. My manager helped him find an HDMI cable and he bought it. I sure hope he enjoyed not being able to use it

lol. I had that all the time. Were you with Best Buy when there were the Wii shortages? One lady told one of my coworkers that he killed Jesus because se were sold out of them.

Yeah, i was there during all the last gen console launches. The wii always being out of stock was so annoying. It seemed like 9 out of 10 questions i was asked was whether we had any wiis, followed immediately after with when we expected to get more. I remember we actually added wii availability or lack thereof to the recorded message people got when they called in, before they started doing store operators (terrible idea btw).
