Have you ever seen another console get as much media attention as the PS4 is getting before its annoucement?

Yes sure, and that's fine. Gametrailers in particular is something that I'm sceptical about, cause they really don't seem to care for journalistic independence. You've got all the product placement and advertising and hype cooperation with companies, but at the same time they do their comments and talk shows on the state of the industry, they've got their own "analyst" who happens to be "genuinely excited" about the PS4 while routinely panning Nintendo. It's problematic.
