This forum is more diverse than "typical" western country. 

That is a good point, but I am referring to even in the same country.  The majority of US Citizens support same sex marriage, and if you lower the age, it become overwhelmingly so.  But not so much here.  It is puzzling.

But a guy from Sweden that is against it, as we have here, tends to throw of the numbers as their aren't many people form Sweden here.

The support/against same sex marriage here on the forums tends to be about 20-30 behind the general population.  Perhaps it's a gamer thing?
