Oh no, do NOT compare BluRay to Kinect. Except for adding to the initial price of the console, it at least does nothing to hurt gameplay, does it? And PS3 is still not only a BluRay player, but one heck of a BluRay player/media hub. BluRay discs also don't scratch easily.
Most exclusives do actually use the added space too, Heavy Rain for instance wouldn't be the same without it, same goes for GoW3 and Uncharted 3, among others.
