Isn't it possible that nintendo will put out games from the wii too? At least the ones like xenoblade and metroid prime trilogy.

Unlikely, we didn't see GC games on Wii VC, only N64 games. They wouldn't make the WiiU backward compatible if they were going to have it available as DLs.

Also releasing those games on VC might piss off some of the collectors who will see a sharp drop in the value of their game.

Yeah, I know that, but wasn't that because of the wii's infrastructure?
