I understand what he's saying because many people complained about quests being rehashed over and over again and it was like it had no consequence on the world of Skyrim.
However, for the couple months I played Skyrim (I had the PS3 version and got rid of it once the bugs and glitches hit), I found it fairly immersive given it's overall size and scope.
What I will say is that Witcher 3 better deliver, because so far, it's looking to be a Skyrim on steroids. And given these statements, the dev team better deliver. And it will by all means be a day one purchase for me if it looks like it's living up to the hype before release.
