It´ll get better, but in the West, I don´t think we´ll see such a phenomenon like the DS again.A lot has changed since the DS was launched, things that were totally out of Nintendo´s control (mainly the smartphone/tablet explosion).
See, I neither agree with people who say smartphones/tablets will kill dedicated gaming handhelds (as long as there´s a healthy flow of good software) nor with people who say they don´t have an impact..in the West, I can´t see how they´re not having an impact on dedicated gaming handhelds, one can argue to what extent.
