I am really surprised no one pointed this out, but it seems like they changed some of the gameplay for the console version. It looks more action-oriented than the 3DS version.
And of course, the console version definitely has better textures, lighting, and a more stable framerate (though it is barely noticeable). However, that is NOT a major difference, as a first glance wont make you know the differences right away. It takes a little more effort than that to notice the differences.
