1. Nintendo shouldn't have called it the Wii 2, because they know that the casual market is pretty much gone. They only kept the Wii in the name for the brand recognition, but it is for the most part a totally different console.
2. It is $300, not $350. Also, pricing it at $250 right now would make them take huge losses.
3. The casuals are gone, so Nintendo is going to rely on their own fan base, and will try to get a few 360/PS3 people to buy it for games like smash bros and bayonetta.
4. They know that the common consumer isn't going to notice a drastic change in graphics from this to next gen, so they are going to rely on innovation.
