If nintendo were to make a new ip, what genre should it be?

As far as a new IP, I think the door is wide open for them to make a FPS. Get Retro to do a unique FPS. It's a genre that Nintendo hasn't even touched, and it obviously is a popular one. Retro made FPS could be really good.

I don't really want that though, I'd be more than happy with Metroid Prime 4.

I know right! I would love a new Starfox. I feel like they wasted a lot of potential with the franchises many missteps, but they can remedy that with a new, stellar game.
