Well I guess the only solace that can come out of this is that its rock bottom, but with next gen console announcements on the way, i'm sure they are going to eat at future Wii U sales. Price cut and anything drastic will most likely cost Nintendo profitability for this year and probably years to come, I can see why the stock is trading near all time lows in the US (~ two dollars above)

well I don't think February will be any better...could be worse. It's a software wasteland this month for wiiu afaik. March will bring a boost since some solid software releases are taking place

Feburary should be lower actually, which is frightening, because January this year was a 5 week month, Feburary is already shorter than any month, but especially compared to January this year for NPD.

Plus the only big release for the Wii U in Feb (Rayman) just flew away.

yeah exactly....why the hell didn't Ninty put at least one big game in February is beyond my comprehension 

I know EU is getting that MH console bundle right? Wonder if NA will get it too

And PS4 is being unveiled next week as well...and eventually the nextbox unveiling.
