1st rule of handheld games - never judge them until you actually see them on the console. The resolution is lower, but at the same time the screen is smaller, allowing a high ppi (pixels per inch) -> games look better on the console itself.
Also all of Nintendo's trailers are pretty low-res, just compare the eshop trailers to the final product.^^
