What's that got to do with anything? That's a) illegal b) unregulated thus dangerous b) can'tbe done in moderation c) only done to get high, not because of flavour etc.

Not being funny, but that is a really immature stance to take on alcohol.

While your b) is incorrect, you misinterpreted my point. I'm not saying alcohol = XTC, but it's absurd someone should "defend" why they don't drink alcohol yet when doing other, arguably less dangerous substances, it's the complete opposite.

Yes, drinking alcohol is the norm. That doesn't mean there is any less risk involved (probably even more).

For the record, I do enjoy alcohol every now and then.
