The fact that NoE and Nintendo Japan pegged this as a 3DS Direct should have told you something.

Where did they peg this as such? OP says 3DS and WiiU. Video was 3DS and WiiU. 

Only NA was about the Wii U and 3DS. Europe and Japan only had 3DS news.
