Well, I hope that SEGA is saying the truth and the game hasn't been cancelled. It's always better to have more games to choose from even if some of them are bad.
Besides I can't understand the publishers that cancel a game that's almost completed. In the past it made some sense as they had to made the DVDs, boxes, marketing, shipping, etc., but now with the digital distribution they have the option to launch it only on the eShop (in this case) so no extra costs are needed. Hell, finish it and put it on the eShop, that way you'll get some money back!
Also, the bad news from some weeks ago that said that the WiiU version wasn't in charge of Gearbox may be some good news now
