| Here is what I will say... As a sell-through measurement tool, I've found them to be significantly less accurate (more often than not overly optimistic than under reporting) than our real data. I won't go trashing them. I've looked at them a few times, and I've found them to be inaccuate by a wide enough margin, frequently enough as to not rely on them. If for your entertainment value, you find them useful and fun, that's great. I'm sure the team there would take great pride in that. |
So apparently we are still relatively far off on software numbers, but as ioi has stated, he is aware of that, and I believe he is working on improving them.
