While I'm not super bummed about the game delay as I don't plan on getting a Wii U for awhile anyway, to me it's more about the principle. What Ubisoft did was incredible shitty and just shows their attitute towards Nintendo fans. They'll bend over backwards for PS360 fans, even at the expense of depriving Nintendo gamers of one of the few releases during the entire month. Yet they won't give Nintendo fans Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell, or Watch Dogs. For that, I can't reward their behavior with a $50-$60 purchase, and I hope most other Nintendo fans feel the same way. At the same time, I feel bad for the developers that slaved away to get this title out at the supposed deadline, only to have it pushed a whopping 7 months after it's already finished. Sucks that they have to take the backlash for a decision they had nothing to do with.
I suppose once I get a Wii U, which will probably be this christmas, I'll now just wait till the game hits the bargain bin for 10 bucks, which judging by the sales of the first game, shouldn't take to long to hit. Besides, this is the price the game SHOULD have been by christmas anyway, had the game be released at the date it was supposed to be. No sense in depriving myself of what looks like a solid game just because the heads of Ubisoft are dicks, but at the same time, they don't deserve $50-$60 of my hard earned money for their dick move. This way everybody wins :P
I have a feeling Ubisoft is about to learn the hard way that they the companies are there to please US, not the other way around. We hold the true power, and we hold it with our wallets.
