these theory's have no basis though, we just EXPECT things to be like this. niether nintendo or EA have ever said anything about this. pokoko made a very intellegent and well written thread about this very subject and his logic behind nintendo and the problem with third party support was very convincing. people who claim that third parties hate nintendo and come with all these theories have no basis what so ever to them. ill look for pokoko's thread for you |
No they won't say anything, because thats how business works - under the table backroom undemocratic corruption.
But you must be blind for not recognizing the amount of DLC pushed on 360/PS3 last gen. from third-parties, while Nintendo waited till last year to back dlc on their consoles with major public/shareholder support.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
