I read your title, looked at the numbers, thought "never", read your post, remembered there's also a PS3 version, and was immediately convinced. =P
Isn't going to be long now, unless the numbers are seriously all over the place.
From what I've heard, Activision is already rushing in with a new CoD game made by a different team, but it sounds like it'll be crap. Even in the worst case scenario, it probably won't be doing enough to kill sales fast enough for Halo 3 to stay in the lead.
