Again, Microsoft only Reports ACTIVE USERS (i.e have at least signed once in the last 8 months).
IF THEY WERE GOING TO REPORT MEMBER SINCE 2005 THERE WOULD VE OVER 100 MILION SINCE HALO 3 ALONE WAS CLOSING 25M LAST YEAR ON LEADERBOARDS.

Lol sign in once in 8 months and you're active? How arbitrary is that?

Tell me how on an install base of 74m are there 100m accounts?
No need bloat numbers here...oh wait, I guess there is...lol once in 8 months. Sounds like facebook.

I have to agree--come talk to me when "active users" is defined as once a month and, even better, once a week, like, I dunno, people that watch cable TV, etc. Defining it as once ever 8-months is patently ridiculous and was clearly arrived at to grossly inflate the numbers.

So when I am on vacation for 2 weeks I am not an active user, even though I pay fees for it. That is like judging a companys performance by checking the cash register.
8 months is fine IMO.
