America is Zelda's biggest region. The series hasn't even been able to hit a million in Japan since the N64, so their trends alone won't affect the series.

As for the others complaining about lower budget games on handhelds - I actually prefer it that way. I think the larger budgets required for HD consoles is part of what made this gen so weak in the JRPG department.
